Google Pay

In addition to paying by Cards directly, you can offer your customers the ability to pay with Google Pay.

Google Pay provides secure and seamless payments in your apps or websites and enables your customers to make use of the payment methods saved in their Google account. See developers.google.com/pay for full details.

Your customer authorises the payment in the Google Pay interface, and Google returns the payment method data to you — so you never handle the card details yourself. For a returning customer you can reuse the payment method through a saved account token.

Google Pay is available with both of our card integration options:

  • With Your Payment Page you integrate to the Google Pay API yourself and send the payment method data to our payments API.
  • With the PaySuite Payment Page we have already integrated to the Google Pay JavaScript API, so Google Pay appears as a payment option on the hosted payment page once your account is enabled for it.

Google Pay is also available in our Mobile SDK, which provides a ready-made Google Pay button.
