Card Info library
When the customer enters a new card number, it’s useful to find out more about it, such as the card scheme, and whether it is a debit or a credit card. The Card Info library allows this information to be accessed by a website or mobile app to provide feedback to the customer and also to allow the implementation of business logic such as surcharging or card acceptance based on type. The APIs for client-side access (web, mobile web, mobile app) and for server-side access are distinct, and are secured differently. This is because different trust models apply to the client and the server. You should use the client API to provide feedback to the customer, but you should only rely on the server API to apply policy.
